Chairperson’s Report

I am honoured to reflect on yet another year of hard work, commitment and dedication from the Empowering People in Communities (EPIC) Incorporated team.

The 2022/2023 financial year has been a year that has presented many incredible highlights particularly so through the continued service delivery across our programs designed to enhance the well-being and overall sense of inclusion felt and experienced by our clients and community.  We of course were not immune to some complex challenges but despite what comes our way, standing together as a strong executive, management and broader EPIC team we were able to overcome these with dignity and respect for each other and the process itself.

Looking forward beyond the rest of this year and into 2024 I am excited by the prospect of collaborating with our workforce in setting a revised and reenergised strategy that continues to be relevant in advancing our organisation, such as delivering on the planned infrastructure project in the Goldfields.  Continued focus on understanding how EPIC can best service the needs in the regions we operate keeps us humble in governing and delivering high-quality standards of service to our clients and communities in which we are present.

As we continue to fulfil our purpose of creating a world of abundant belonging, it gives me great pride in knowing that our people are steadfast and razor-focused on this, striving to be the best versions of themselves in supporting our clients, family and friends of EPIC to take steps towards realizing their own potential each and every day.

Sincerely

Shanine Ryan
